The process of admission for DU is extremely competitive, especially for the well known and popular courses and colleges. However, the level of difficulty of admission varies a lot depending on the programme a student wishes to get into and the DU college a student seeks. Some of the key parameters that define how easy or tough can it be for a student to get into a good DU college are:
- Scores in CUET/ Class 12
- Category
- Selection of College + Course combination in the CSAS registration process
Up until 2021, only top scorers of Class 12 were able to get into Hindu, Hansraj, Miranada, SRCC, LSR and other reputed colleges for premium courses
