As per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission at DY Patil Dental College, Pune for MDS. The admission is solely based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) ranks secured by the applicants. Only NEET-qualified candidates can participate in the MCC NEET counselling conducted by the MCC. It is mandatory to participate in the centralised counselling process for securing a seat for MDS at Dr DY Patil Dental College.

There is no separate application process for MDS admission at DY Patil Dental College and Hospital. Aspirants are required to complete the NEET MDS application process to be eligible for the seat allotment. To complete the application process, they must pay the specified NEET MDS application fee as per their reservation category. The category-wise application fee are tabulated below:

Dr DY Patil Dental College & Hospital accepts admission through the NEET MDS counselling conducted by the MCC. Only the candidates who have appeared for NEET MDS can register for the counselling process. Hence, NEET MDS is the accepted entrance exam for MDS admission at the college. NEET MDS is the medical entrance exam conducted once every year, by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Dr DY Patil Dental College MDS admission is granted to applicants with a valid NEET MDS score. After appearing for the entrance exam, aspirants must follow the below-given DY Patil Dental College MDS admission process:

The DY Patil Dental College MDS application process starts with the opening of the NEET MDS registration window. NEET MDS is the entrance exam required for MDS admission at the college. Following the exam, aspirants must register for the NEET MCC counselling for seat application. There is no need to separately apply for admission at the college or its official website. The exam schedule for the NEET MDS 2025 has not yet released. The application process is expected to be conducted during February 2025. Last year, the NEET MDS application process was conducted from January 30, 2024, to February 19, 2024.
