No, direct admission to the MDS programme at the Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS) is not possible; admission is strictly merit-based, determined by your score in the NEET-MDS examination and eligibility criteria. Even if you are a BDS graduate from ACDS, you will not receive any preferential treatment for MDS admission; you will compete with other eligible candidates based on your NEET-MDS score. To be eligible for MDS admission, you must have a BDS degree recognised by the Dental Council of India and have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in BDS (40% for reserved categories).

No, The Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS) Secunderabad doesn't offer direct placements into the Army Dental Corps after an MDS, it's a good college for networking and pursuing post-graduation, with graduates having options for private practice or further studies. Recruiting is average, and few students get placed in the Army on the basis of NEET rank, and some go abroad or start their private practice. Some continue post-graduation from this college. Students do not get placed directly from college.
