One may earn in 'Lakhs' per month by the age of 40 or above. The return on investment is meagre, initially. You slowly create a patient base and then make a fortune. Some people even start with 10-20k per month during initial period. This does not even cover your debt liabilities initially. The gestation perioed is long to achive a break-even, i.e. making profit equal to the money invested to set up the clinic.

60% is the minimum cutoff for graduation. However to get a call from IIMA, you will need to score higher than this. Higher your score, higher your chances of getting an interview call.

Apart from this, as a dentist you can seek work in the research and advisory departments of pharmaceuticals. Opportunities are there in companies producing oral care products like toothpaste, mouth wash, and gum care products.
If you want to go for higher studies then you may consider MDS in specialisations like Periodontology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge, Paediatric & Preventive Dentist

You can enter into Canada for a health care management diploma program or any other related non clinical programs. While doing this you can file your application for dental council registration. Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
