I consider that your query is about creative design(styling, futuristic concepts, new designs in addition to technology behind any automobile) when u say automobile design and not the hard core technical design(related to engine, chasis design etc).
In India institutes like National Institute of Design(NID) and Industrial Design Center(IDC),IITB offer MDes(Transportation and Automobile Design). Students who pursue this course generally work in automobile companies. For example, there are many NIDians working in TATA Motors, TVS, Honda R&D Center, Maruti, Renault Design Studio, Royal Enfield, Bajaj etc., and few of my friends designs have come out in Market in the form of Bike, Car. So opportunities are there to showcase your talent in this domain in India.

Web Designing is a field with lots of opportunities. After doing Web Designing course you can work in:
1. Advertising Agencies.
2. Design Firms.
3. Marketing Departments, etc.
Web Designers may choose to freelance, designing websites for companies who do not employ full-time computer professionals. There are short term courses and long term Undergraduate courses for Designing. Some of the colleges offering Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Web Designing are:
