Some of the options include (as said by Vanshika, a make up artist), starting your own studio/ brand/ label, assisting a renowned designer and becoming a part of the team, working with a retail brand or an export house. Yes, it is a lucrative career but competition is very tough. There are about 5-10 openings for car design on average a year. I would suggest going to Europe as a preference for learning automotive design. You can also check DYPDC, Pune and NID which has an undergrad programme in this respective field.
