Sakshi, this would be an added advantage if you did retail management after fashion design.
My experience says that a designer with retail knowledge can work as a wonderful business development person. I want all my merchandisers to do a retail management course.

NIFT registration starts from either January or December. Keep checking NIFT website once in a week.

The fee of the course is not mentioned on the official website of the academy. I would rather advise you to contact the institute directly for the information.

Eligibility for Masters in Fashion Management [MFM]:
Any undergraduate degree from the university or institute that is recognised by the law of India.
