If you have an interest in the design field, you can apply to any design institute. It's not like, only ICAT Design & Media College will accept you. If you have the talent, and passion for the design field, just go for it irrespective of your dropout.

Please mention what location would be your preference. Short-term/weekend courses are available with various institutes but those will be classroom courses. Hence, your location will play a major role.

You need to crack the NID entrance test, which includes creative ability test and general ability test. After you are qualified in the first round of CAT and GAT, you will have to appear for situation test which is second round of examination.

You don't need any age limit to become an interior designer. You can become an interior designer once you have set your goal to become one. All you need is your heart into it, when you are learning the course and little bit of training under someone who is expertise in this field. Once you grab both theoretical and practical knowledge your set to start your own. Best of luck.

Class 12th passing certificate from NIOS (National Institute of open schooling) is valid for any institute of India including NIFT, NID. So, go ahead. Good luck.
