After completing your graduation, you can get job in ministry of textiles at various position. They give opportunities time to time to hire eligible candidates. You can apply in Handloom department. You can become a faculty on contract basis in college which comes under ministry of textiles. Like NIFT. You can always take part in craft clusters organized by ministry of textiles to save crafts of India in different states.

Yes, you can do fashion designing through online. All you have to do is whichever institute/college/university, you are looking for. You have to check it and apply. Remember to choose only which are UGC approved as there are many which are not and it will effect in the career prospects if you are looking to work.

Design schools are started and run by state government. There are states and there are such schools. In some cases, the schools of designs run by states are simply superb while in some cases these are not worth mentioning. Hence, all cannot be painted by same brush.
What used to happen in olden times was the beurocratic approach that resulted in late decisions, which in turn hampered the untrammeled growth of these schools. Decision making used to be lethargic and hence, placements were also problematic.

http://raylynnedsa.com: One of the best classes in Bombay. The teacher is amazing- she has been teaching for over 30 years. She obviously knows what she is doing. The course work is divided according the different stages of the exam. You work on your portfolio with her. It is a class of about 15 students and you get one on one attentions.
