It is really tough to directly comment on any institute best or not or answer which is the best institute in a city or country , especially for domains like web designing, animation and VFX or gaming etc. where many institutes offer many types of courses for different duration for the almost all the same pipeline .
We need to see the content of the course , duration, cost , infra, earlier students outputs and skill developed , in-time course completion record , certification process & delivery of certificate in time etc.
Also Same Brand has different centers and branches and fortunately/unfortunately all does not perform the same . Some centers are doing great some not, in vary place to place centers to centers and also on the local management & team.
So its always good to visit the institute personally, speak to them, see the track record and then decide if its up to the mark as per your requirement.

Coaching yourself will be the best. You will get plenty of platform where you will come across like minded people who are preparing for NID. If you lack self discipline and want an external source there are plenty of Insitutes. I liked this answer by Joseph Tsukka Is Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio in Ahmedabad good for NID and NATA?

Not getting into details of why and how. just wanted to add I have recieved negative reviews about its owner, some says he got attitude problem due to its monopoly in the coaching market in that region. Though he is good with advertisement and sponsoring. You can find his adv first if you google for NID. It claims to give 60-70% students of NID are from their institute which is also true to some extent.
