No, Maths is not mandatory to pursue Interior design course.
The basic eligibility to pursue Interior design course is to pass 12th in ANY stream. There is no age limit. Admission will be on the basis of the score in the institute's entrance exam and interview thereafter.

-textile mill
-manufacturing and processing company that produces clothing, soft furnishings and other textiles-based products
-several large fashion and clothing retailers
-design studios and consultancies
-handloom cooperatives and buying agencies
You may even work as freelancer. And with good experience and contacts, you can eventually open your own business.

Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, to give a brief idea, a fresher can earn around 15-20 thousand per month.
In export houses experienced textile designers may draw Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 per month.

Interior Design course i.e. Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design is well certified degree provided by Mahatma Gandhi University. It's a 36 months program with 30 months of practical intensive training and 6 months of internship in one of the biggest portfolio company.

Pavasini, at this stage, you may want to understand the creative world and the careers it offers. There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers.
