M.Sc. in Fashion Design and Management in JD Institute, Kochi is a 4 semesters program. For degree course, that is, Fashion Design it is around Rs. 3,30, 400 + University fess, which is around Rs. 30,000 per year. Both are to be paid separately.

You can go for M.Des program (Master in design) or MFtech (Masters in Fashion technology). Also, you can go for MFM (Masters in Fashion Management). You can also choose M.Design (Master in Design). These are the few streams you can choose for yourself in India. For abroad, you can go for Master in Fashion (Entrepreneurship), M.A Fashion Management, M.A Fashion Enterprise and society, M.A Global Fashion Management or MBA. In India, these programs are available in NIFt, NID, Pearl and so on. In abroad, these courses are available in RMIT, University Australia, University of Southampton.

Subjects prescribed for NID that prelims entrance exam include colour terminology, design development, theme and colour interrelationship, design theory, elements and principles of design, theme development, visual logic, memory drawing, exercises on imagination, and doodling, lettering, presentation techniques, picture analysis, story pictures, usage of colour and composition, natural and geometric form, use of measurements, scale and proportions, expression and emotions, Foreshortening and perspective.
