You can apply for M.Des in Fashion Design, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. There are several choices for pursuing your career in the fashion design field as M.Des Fashion Design, M.Sc. Fashion, M.A. , or Diploma courses as well but amongst all M.Des Fashion Design 2-year programme is considerably more professional and industrial specific in comparison. It carries more weightage in several areas. You can make your specialisation with Master's to choose an industry in a fashion design career, like accessories, apparel, or textile designing, etc. There are many good universities that provide B. It is always preferred to go for a regular degree course dear. A Diploma course is usually a short term thing which will help you for a certain period of time in your career but it's benefit won't last for very long. You cannot grow more in your field with these courses. I am not denying that your experience, efforts and skills do matter in how much successful you will be in your life but you cannot purely leave it to that. Courses do help you to get proper education, push in your career and self development.
Diploma courses are designed for immediate benefits which give you a minor stunt in your career when you SEE no growth in your job or just to shift from one area of work to the other. Diplomas give you basic knowledge and ideas of your subject but a full time degree course is very deeply designed to give an overall development of your skills and mindset.
Degrees stay with you all along your career life and they are valued even more when they grow old being part of an organisation. Degrees will be acknowledged by all your future employers and you will hold more value and preference over others.
So definitely, I would suggest you to go for a regular course of interior designing. I have been to IILM University, and would like to mention it to you for consideration. In Punjab, you will find a lot of colleges that provide B.Sc. Fashion Designing. I would personally recommend you to choose a college that would give you practical exposure as fashion designing is a practical oriented programme and requires you to have a proper understanding about the techniques being used in it. I have done my graduation from PCTE Group of Institutes and the college provided me with hands on experience. During my course I visited the fashion designing department where I saw students indulged in making sketches, their creative hands in the designing fascinated me a lot. I also saw a group of students doing graphic designing where they were being taught professional software like coral draw, photoshop and adobe illustrator. Looking at my keen interest the faculty came up and told me that fashion designing is a very creative and technical course and started telling all other interesting things that the students did like construct garments of all segments, pattern making, draping which includes surface ornamentation techniques as well. Besides this, she told that the students would also present their collection on their big day of annual graduating show. So, think of getting into a college that would just not give you a degree but would make you use your creativity and teach you all the technical skills required to be a brilliant fashion designer at the same time that would also provide you job opportunities once you finish your graduation as mine does.
