No, you don't get a B.Tech at the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Dharwad. The programme in civil engineering. In particular, IIIT Dharwad deals with IT and Computer Science Engineering programmes. An annual cultural festival is hosted by the IIIT Dharwad that offers performances of music, dance, drama and literature. Food's good, don't bring too much expectations, the first month will be a challenge but you'll get used to it. When you get hungry after dinner or just during the day, there's a canteen at our place. We've got four meals a day, including fruit, every day.

At IIIT Dharwad, CGPA is calculated using a credit-based system. For each course, a credit shall be given on the basis of its grade. Grade points from 10 to 0 shall be used for the assessment of student performance. The SGPA is determined by multiplying the grade points per credit and taking an average. CGPA is the average SGPA over a full semester, taken into account partial and repeated courses subject to institute policies.
