IIIT Dharwad has a decent placement record. Over the years, the institute has maintained a placement rate of over 65%. So far, 66% of the students have been placed during the IIIT Dharwad BTech placements 2025. The placement drive is still ongoing. A total of 77 companies have visited the campus and 130 offers have already been made.

As compared to the previous year, the highest pacakge offered during IIIT Dharwad placements has increased from INR 46 LPA in 2024 to INR 61 LPA in 2025. The average package so far is INR 10 LPA. It was INR 9.54 LPA in 2024.

UAS Dharwad BTech course admissions are based on the UASD  ICAR AIEEA, and various other entrance exam scores. The mode of UASD Dharwad course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are ICAR AIEEA, KCET, and others. Candidates willing to get admission must first visit the official website of the university. Then, click on the Apply Now tab. Then, select the required course. Then, pay the application fee. Then, fill out and submit the application form with the required information. 

The University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad was established in 1986 and has five colleges, 30 Research Stations, 6 Extension Education Units, 5 Krishi Vigyan Kendras, and ATIC. University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad Karnataka, offers postgraduate, undergraduate, and varous other programmes to students. These programmes are provided across the Food Technology and several other streams. UAS Dharwad is known to provide placement assistance to students and is visited by top companies for placements such as Syngenta, Bayer, Corteva Agriscience, UPL, and others. 

The IIT Dharwad M.Tech programme is offered with various specialisations. Some of the popular specialisations opted for by many students are M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, and MTech in Electrical Engineering. Out of all, M.Tech in Electrical Engineering has the highest number of seats, i.e., 40. Students must appear for COAP counselling with a GATE score to get a seat.

IIT Dharwad offers a limited number of seats for M.Tech courses. As per official sources, the institute offers 106 seats spread across different M.Tech specialisations. Students who wish to get a seat must have appeared for the GATE exam. Students are also required to participate in the COAP counselling process.

Yes, students enrolled in the IIT Dharwad M.Tech courses are given scholarships. The college has various amounts of scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. In order to avail scholarships, students must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility requirement which is set by the college.

The total tuition fees to complete M.Tech offered by IIT Dharwad range from INR 10000 to INR 20000. This fee is applicable for a duration of two years. Other than this fee structure also includes other fees such as one-time fees, etc.
