Course duration: Regular Diploma course is 2-3 years long. Depending upon the institute, course duration may vary. Some institutes are known to offer distance education course format. Course duration may differ, when considering such course formats.
Eligibility criteria: 10+2 passed from a recognized board (or equivalent).
Admission process: Depending upon the institute, it could be direct admission process or merit based admission process.

Hi Nidhi,
The PG Diploma course requires at minimum a degree in Science. To do the Bachelor program in Nutrition and Dietetics, one should have completed intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The B.Sc (Food Science and Nutrition) is a three year program.

You can apply for nutrition and dietetics in a good hospital, as an intern by first inquiring about the department of nutrition and dietetics. If they have any, show them your qualification and work there. A recommendation might even do better.

Clinical Nutrition
Paediatric Nutrition
Public Health Nutrition
Food Science/Technology
Sports Nutrition/Dietetics
Gerontological Nutrition
Renal Nutrition
Eligibility criteria: Must possess relevant Bachelors Degree from a recognized University/Institute. Minimum aggregate marks required could be around 50-55% (or equivalent grade).
Further studies: After Masters or PG Diploma course, you may go for further advanced (relevant) programs like M.Phil. and PhD.
