As per the Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University admission guidelines, admission to the BA course is entirely merit-based. There are no entrance exam required for admission to the BA course. Candidates only requres twelve years of school education in five subjects of the Board of School Education, Haryana, or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Kurukshetra University with English as one of the subjects. Therefore, students can join DDE KUK course directly without any entrance exam. However, having a complete qualification is mandatory for the BA admission.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) is programme at Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University require candidates to have passed a Bachelor's degree examination from Kurukshetra University or any other recognised University.
