Please refer to the university websites to check the programs they offer. What you want to study is something you must decide, identify your areas of interests, likes and dislikes, speak to the university counselors and also your teachers regarding subject choice. Please check the program list here

For sc/professional courses,regular way is preferable.
If presently you are in a job, do by distance and taking tution.
If you can then do regular course. For some govt.jobs they ask for full time degree.

UGC NET is conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam. Those who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.
Age Qualification:
