The students who want to pursue BEd course from KSOU must complete any degree from a recognised college. Additionally, they must complete a mandatory education programme through face to face mode. The duration of the course is 2 years. Total credits required to pass the course are 66.

There are multiple scholarships offered by KSOU to BCom students with each of them having a different eligibility criteria. For financial aid scholarships, candidates must belong to the EWS, SC/ST, OBC etc. categories with a total family income of less that INR 2 lakh. For merit based scholarships, candidates must secure high enough percentages in either their qualifying exam or the exams of the first semester.

Karnataka State Open University BCom admission is merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying exams. They must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from other recognised Boards to get admission to the BCom programme. Upon selection aspirants, must submit the required documents for verification along with the applicable admission fee.
