The students who want to pursue BEd course from KSOU must complete any degree from a recognised college. Additionally, they must complete a mandatory education programme through face to face mode. The duration of the course is 2 years. Total credits required to pass the course are 66.

There are multiple scholarships offered by KSOU to BCom students with each of them having a different eligibility criteria. For financial aid scholarships, candidates must belong to the EWS, SC/ST, OBC etc. categories with a total family income of less that INR 2 lakh. For merit based scholarships, candidates must secure high enough percentages in either their qualifying exam or the exams of the first semester.

No, admissions into the BA courses at KSOU have been closed for the July session. The admissions into BA courses were opened in the month of February. Candidates who wish to take admission into KSOU BA courses will now have to wait for the BA admissions in 2026. Candidates are advised to check the official website of KSOU for more details.

All BA courses offered by KSOU have a duration of three years which are offered in full-time mode only. Yes, KSOU does offer free Wi-Fi facility to all its students with 24 x 7 working hours with campus-wide coverage. With the use of a stable internet connection, students can access KSOU radio app, set-up for providing lessons and lectures from skilled professors and external resource persons to KSOU students. Yes, KSOU provides hostel accommodation for females as well. The KSOU campus has 1 hostel for its female students with an intake of 56 students. One would have to pay a very nominal fee of INR 50 per head on a per-day basis. Students would have to pay INR 250, which is refundable if no damages occur to hostel property during the entire stay duration.

Yes, there is membership available for the KSOU library. Students have to pay a refundable amount of Rs.250 for graduates and postgraduates and INR 500 for M.Phil. and Ph.D. students.

Graduates and postgraduates will get 2 borrower cards, while M.Phil. and Ph.D. students are issued 5 borrower cards. Users can only borrow one book per card.
