Yes, DIT University increases its course fees on an annual basis across all levels. This only applies to tuition fees as hostel fees remains constant and academic service fees fluctuates. There is no fixed rate at which this fee increase is done at DIT Dehradun.

Admission fees for confirmation of DIT University is INR 10,000 in academic year 2026. This is a common amount for all courses which non refundable. Alongside this admission fees, candidates will also be charged a security deposit of INR 5,000. It will be refunded either at end or when a candidate cancel's their admission.

DIT University has a fee refund policy in place as per UGC norms. Students have to officially withdraw admission to initiate a refund. Table given below shows fee refund (%) along with timeline details:

Yes, DIT University four-year course includes summer internship for two months (four weeks) in second and third year. In the final year, the internship (optional) is for six months as per the requirement of hiring organization.

Full-time PhD scholarships who have qualified NET/ GATE get a stipend of INR 16,000 per month towards Teaching and Research Associateship as per the availability of teaching positions at DIT University. Aspirants who pass DUET for admission in PhD with 60% or more are eligible to get INR 10,000 per month as stipend towards Teaching and Research Associateship.

The total tuition fees for BDes is INR 3.8 Lacs - INR 5.5 lakh at DIT University. The lower amount is for BDes UI/ UX. For all other BDes specialisations, amount is same. Students with 90% and above or are first rank holders of all boards can get 20% scholarship. Those with 75%-90% in Class 12 are offered 10% scholarship.

Aspirants do not have appear for any entrance exam for admission in BDes course of DIT University. The selection is purely based on merit. Candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate for admission.
