DIT University Admission Office offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at DSCE, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed with 4 subjects- Physics, Mathematics, English and best one of the remaining subjects with at least 50%-60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12.

DIT University application process steps are given below:
- Reach the DIT site.
- Select the DIT 'Application for Admission' in Admission tab.
- Click on the DIT 'Apply Now'
- Select the DIT programme that the student is interested in.
- Fill DIT University application form.
- Pay the DIT application fee & submit the complete DIT form.

DIT University BCA is a three-year programme available at the undergraduate level. The BCA students are given the hostel facilities. INR 4,17,500 is the hostel fee that all the students including the BCA students must pay. The fee is flexible and may change from time to time.

DIT is not a Tier 1 university. It is generally considered a Tier 2 private university. Tier 1 universities are IITs, IIITs, and others. The university is ranked at 83rd position under the Pharmacy category by the NIRF 2025. DIT university has also been ranked at the 21st position by the Week for the year 2025 for B.Arch.

As per the School of Engineering placement report 2024, the highest package offered in 2024 and previous two years was 7.25 LPA, 9.5 LPA and 19 LPA. The median package in 2024, 2023 and 2022 was 5 LPA, 4 LPA and 4.5 LPA. In School of Computing, the highest package offered in 2024 and past two years was 44 LPA, 58 LPA and 30.6 LPA.

DIT University - Admission Office's selection criteria are both merit and entrance-based. The university admits candidates either on the basis of the merit secured in the last qualifying examination. The university accepts several national-level entrance examinations, such as GATE, UGC NET, MAT, CAT, etc. Students with valid UKSEE scores may also apply for selective courses. Further, the final selection is done based on counselling conducted by the university. For merit-based admissions, candidate's marks in the last qualifying exam are considered.
