DYPSOET Pune offers entrance-based admission to its ME programme. The institute accepts admissions through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell (DTE). To participate in the CAP, candidates must have a valid GATE score. Hence, GATE is the entrance exam required to secure ME admission at DYPSOET Pune. The exam is jointly conducted by IISc and 7 IITs on behalf of the National Co-ordination Board. Aspirants must visit the official GATE website to apply.

GATE is the accepted entrance exam for Dr DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology ME admission. Hence, aspirants willing to pursue an ME at the institute must apply through GATE. While applying, they must submit the applicable fees depending on their category.
