Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology Admission Process

DYPSOET Pune offers a two-year Master of Engineering (ME) which is considered similar to an MTech. As per the available information, taking direct admission to ME at DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology may not be possible. It is because the admission to the programme is entrance-based. Seats are allocated to applicants through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell. The MHT CET M.Tech CAP is based on the applicants' GATE scores. Further, aspirants must satisfy the preset eligibility criteria.

Instead of a BTech, DYPSOET Pune offers a BE in various Engineering streams. BE admission at the institute depends on the applicants' Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) or JEE Main scores. Candidates with a valid score in one of these exams must participate in the MHT CET counselling (CAP) for seat allocations. Candidates who are allotted BE seats must confirm their admission online by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute. 

DYPSOET Pune offers a full-time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) lasting four years. As per the available information, taking direct admission to BE at DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology may not be possible. It is because the admission to the programme is entrance-based. • For Second Year Engineering and Technology: Equivalence Certificate from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai

Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology application forms are usually released for vacant CAP and institute-level seats. The institute usually releases the form in November and continues till December. Candidates can apply online for the preferred course. Once the application process is over, the institute releases the merit list in the same week. 

Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology offers seats to candidates based on their entrance exam scores or merit in the last qualifying exam. The seats for UG and PG courses is offered via MHT CET CAP. Aspirants with a valid score in JEE Main or MHT CET can apply for CAP for BE seats. For ME, aspirants must qualify MHT CET M.Tech or GATE.
