DSSSB Process

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is tasked with organizing recruitment examinations for a range of positions across various departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). Annually, DSSSB conducts recruitment exams to fill vacancies in roles such as PGT, TGT, Assistant Teacher (Primary), Assistant Teacher (Nursery), Counselor, Jr. Secretariat Assistant (LDC), Head Clerk, Patwari, JE, AE, and others. The board issues official notifications, announcing different job openings each year. Prospective candidates are invited to submit their applications for specific positions, provided they meet the DSSSB eligibility criteria for the year 2023.

The DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) selection process varies for different posts and exams. However, in general, the selection process for DSSSB recruitment includes the following stages:

1. Written Exam: The first stage of the selection process is the written exam, which is usually conducted in an online mode and consists of multiple-choice questions. The written exam tests the candidate's knowledge and skills in the relevant subject areas
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Skill Test: Depending on the post, candidates who qualify in the written exam may be required to undergo a physical endurance test, skill test, or both. The PET/Skill Test is designed to test the candidate's physical fitness, endurance, and practical skills related to the job
3. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written exam and PET/Skill Test are required to provide original documents and certificates to verify their eligibility for the post
4. Merit List: Based on the candidate's performance in the written exam, PET/Skill Test, and document verification, the board prepares a merit list of the eligible candidates.
5. Final Selection: The final selection is based on the candidate's merit, eligibility for the post, reservation policy, and other relevant factors. The board may conduct an interview or other additional rounds for some posts, depending on the requirements.
   

Yes, the DSSSB exam is conducted in different shifts depending on the number of candidates appearing for the exam and the availability of exam centers.

When the number of candidates is high, the DSSSB may conduct the exam in multiple shifts to accommodate all the candidates. The exact number of shifts and the timing of the exam for each shift will be mentioned in the DSSSB exam notification.

On the day of the exam, candidates should report to the exam center well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card, and they should carry a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card. 

It is advisable for candidates to visit the exam center a day before the exam to check the location and the distance from their place of stay to the exam center. This will help them to plan their travel accordingly and avoid any last-minute rush.
