It's good. There are a lot of scope for environmental science and eco nowadays as every public and private sector keeps an evironmentalist for the protection and avoiding deterioration of the environment and if comes to economist, they are needed in many fields and seeing your physics background, its quite good.

According to me, yes. For M.A. Economics, mathematics should not be a mandatory subject. In Panjab University, Chandigarh any stream is eligible.

Both are really good colleges with good facilities but I would suggest IP for better infrastructure and a quite and engaging college life which I personally prefer and Drc for a more loud college life as it is in North campus.
