Some of the best colleges/universities in India for MA Economics are Delhi University, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun, Indira Gandhi National Open University- Delhi, Chaudhary Charan Sigh University - Meerut, JNU& Hyderabad university Eligibility criteria varies from university to university. Some, like University of Hyderabad, demand a basic degree in economics to apply for a master's degree, many others like DSE & UPES also lets people with Maths, Statistics etc. to sit for the entrance. You can visit websites of respective universities and get the details about exams, eligibility and test dates. .

There are multiple good career options available for graduate in Economics. You can join MNCs, BFSI (Banking Financial Services & Insurance) companies as research analysts, IT industry as Business Analyst/ Tester, Indian Economic Services, Civil Services, RBI, banks , BPO, KPO, PSUs, private companies , Armed Forces as officer, academics etc . Elegibility criterion in majority of universities for MA Economics is BA Economics or any other branch with economics as electives. Delhi School of Economics DU allows any graduate to appear for MA economics entrance exam. You can evaluate DSE.
