It's a great thing and after seeing your profile I must suggest you that you have to take a chance with international business because nowadays in this field, such opportunities are available and amount of interested students in this field are really low. So, you have 90% chance to be successful in this field
And the answer to your question, it depends on your own budget. If your budget is more than 30 Lacs then I must suggest you that you go abroad.

You don't need the knowledge of Tamil to pursue BA in Economics as the subject will be taught in English.

Yes, you can give one more attempt if your goal is top notch institutes. Gap years is to be considered because when it comes to placements we have to justify the gap.

The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing B.A. (Hons.) (Economics) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board of the country.
Some universities give preference to the students having economics in class 12 but Ranchi University is not one of them.

The CET syllabus consists of General English, Economics and Maths. For English section, you do not need more than a general understanding of grammar and basic sentence formation. As for Eco. And Maths, the syllabus is restricted to whatever you've studied in grades 11 and 12. You can buy Arihant's books for IPU CET preparation.
