Dear Bharath, EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications. In core companies, demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas ECE students can apply for IT companies as well. EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students have. So, you can choose as per your interest. The opportunities and the exposure for any stream matters alot and also the University from where you join to pursue your degree. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities. LPU is better option

In 2016, the percentage of total students placed was 96.7. For EEE department it was 100 percent for both 2015 and 2016. Talking about the companies that come for recruiting there are reputed names like Schneider Electric, BHEL, Eicher, BGR energy Bharat Bijlee.
