B.Tech ECE Mains subject focuses on Digital And Analog Electronic, Digital and Analog Communication Techniques, VLSI, Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing, C+, Data Structure, IOT ( in some colleges), Microwave Engineering, Radar and Satellite Communications and some elective which depends upon college. The package offered varies from college to college. If you are placed in Tech giants like Intel Qualcomm Samsung they offer a good Package. If you are interested in IT then some companies like Infosys and all offer package which is less, though they are regarded as mass recruiter. If you want core companies like BHEL and all. They offer good packages but you have to clear GATE exam with a very good rank. Then only it is possible to join a PSU.

Syllabus of B.Tech CS and B.Tech IT is similar up to 80 to 90% in various universities. Courses on computer languages, data structure, databases, and networking, etc. are common. B.Tech IT degree course program is primarily focused on the field of computer applications such as mobile computing, ERP, SCM, etc. whereas B.Tech CSE degree program is primarily focused on the subjects with more mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing rather than emphasizing specific technologies. It covers all the emerging topics like Artificial Intelligence, BIDW, etc. B.Tech CSE graduates can work both as systems and apps programmer whereas B.Tech IT graduates is trained only as apps programmer.
