Your MAT score should get you interview call and then rest will depend on your acadmic record and interview performance. Reasons for joining EMPI would be the curriculum, industry association and strong alumni network, which I think is the most important part.

EMPI was one of the first business schools in India to offer MBA in business analytics. It covers entire business analytics curriculum. In addition to it, it also provides IBM certified business analytics course delivered by IBM workforce. IBM will also certify you additionally along with your MBA degree. IBM covers business analytics course and IBM Watson training.
Analytics covers SPSS, SAS training also. Hope this helps. Business analytics is the most sought after course in India now and there are immense opportunities in every domain. Only requirement from your side would be your interest in Maths. Hope this helps.

Analytics students are placed in various industry sectors and functional areas such as marketing, finance etc. as analytics is the key driver to measure growth and success of any organisation. The average placement package at entry level for our Analytic students is around Rs 5.4 lakhs per annum. However, the package varies from individual to individual depending on the student's own performance, ability and knowledge.

The faculty is quite good for HR. Some well known faculty with good corporate background also come to teach at EMPI as visiting faculty. The average placement package is around 4.8 lacs. And, for selection you can apply through any of these exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT) with a minimum of 50 percentile and above 50% result throughout your academic journey.

Hi! Well yes the size of students did fell last year but it was mainly because not much effort was taken by the college to advertise much, (perhaps because the college was booming with students earlier). Also, the college has a very good reputation in companies and recruiters. The faculty is good here and so is the placement record till now. So, I would definetly recommend you to pursue your pgdm from Empi. If you have any other specific question you are free to ask here. All the best!
