Mainly 2 more years you can take the exams of engineering after your class 12th. This means that you have 3 chance for your engineering entrance exams but in medical, you can take the entrance exam till the age of 25.

For good package, you have to join good colleges like IITs and to get into IITs, you have to score good in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
