They use a conventional admissions procedure, therefore applicants must have passed the 10+2 with at least 50% of their grades in mathematics and physics as their major subjects. The EAMCET results (Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test) will determine the selection process.

There are no hostels or PGs available close to the University College of Engineering, Kakinada. However, separate rooms are available near Vidyanagar, which is close to the campus. However, the college doesn't provide hostels for its students. Although other basic facilities are provided, like a canteen and library, etc.

The hostel fee at JNTUK is approximately 10,000/- to 12,000/- per year. Each room in the hostel is allocated to three members, and basic amenities such as beds, almirahs, and study tables are provided. The hostel also offers wifi connectivity for students' convenience.
Furthermore, the hostel ensures 24-hour electricity and water supply. The food served in the hostel is decent, and the menu is selected by the students themselves.
To register for the hostel, students are required to fill out an application form and make an advance payment of 12000/- (subject to change).

It provides good facilities. Placements: More than 75% of students from our course get placement. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies Infosys, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, TCS, and L&T, visit our college for placements.
