It is not mandatory, however students with valid JEE score can apply for BTech course. The college also accepts SATACT, Pearson UG exam for admission. So, students can apply by appearing for either of the above exams.

The students who want admission into BTech course at UPES School of Advance Engineering must fuflil the minimum eligibility criteria. They must have atleast 50% marks in class 10th and 12th exams. Students must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects. Either of the exams needs to be cleared; JEE Mains, UPESEAT, SAT, CUET-UG.
