No, not normally in India; you can not successfully undertake a B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree by the old fashioned correspondence means or entirely off-list, and expect it to be accepted. The All India Council of technical education (AICTE) and even the Supreme Court of India have clearly expressed that engineering degrees demand a lot of practical as well hands-on works in labs and they cannot be properly and fully met by a distance learning delivery mode. The JEE Main Session 2 results for Paper 1 were released on April 18, 2025, while the results for Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) were released on May 23, 2025. It highly depends on your both ranks,
You must have search if you rank is lower in unreserved ranks or category ranks
If you have lower rank in category rank you must use the category rank in college prediction.
In maximum case the category ranks are much lower than you should use category rank to get the best college

with 9.1 Lacs rank in JEE Mains chances at nits iiits or gftis are almost zero unless you have a super strong category rank you can still get private colleges that accept JEE score like amity srm chitkara or galgotias also try state counselling some keep seats open in spot rounds
