Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 to apply for Gondwana University BE course. Aspirants must also pass JEE Main or MHT CET for admission to BE programmes. Candidates must keep the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Yes, Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects to apply for BTech at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management. Candidates must have studies these subjects in Class 12 along with one of the optional subjects such as namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science. The minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 45% for the BTech programme.

BTech is the flagship programme of Gopalan College of Engineering and Management. The college is known to offer good placement packages to BTech students. As per the NIRF report 2024 available on the official website, the median package offered during Gopalan College of Engineering and Management BTech placements 2023 stood at INR 3.5 LPA.  

KCET is one of the accepting exams for Gopalan College of Engineering and Management BTech admission. In 2024, the closing rank was 77564 for Computer Science Engineering. This was the highest closing rank among all the BTech specialisations followed by 102083 for Aeronautical Engineering. CSE which is a popular BTech specialisation saw declining trend in the past three years. From 39137 in 2022, 47577 in 2023 and 77564 in 2024.

This is in accordance with September 2018 MHT CET ordinances or the JEE Main upheld by the college for the admission to B.E./B.Tech at Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, College of Engineering and Technology. The students are admitted through these examinations and the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET). Students need to enroll themselves on DTE Maharashtra website and get this college of their choice and should have secured the cut off marks.

Candidates seeking admission in the B.E./B.Tech programme at SSBT's college of engineering and technology have to appear for MHT CET or JEE MAIN. Admission to these courses is done through the merit in these examinations through centralized admission process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The applicants need to go and register with dte online and opt for SSBTs, and they require cutoff based on their exams.
