The important dates related to the TNEA application process for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses at Paavai Engineering College are typically as follows: the online application is opened in first week of May while the last date for the submission of the online application is in last week of May. The random number process is conducted in mid June while the rank list is released in second week of June. Counseling usually starts early in July usually on the third week.

The admission to B.E./B.Tech course in Paavai Engineering College is offered based on the TNEA counseling alone. But, 15% of a total intake of 840 students is meant for management quota. It can also be enrolled through the CSAT that stands for the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu for management seat. Also, five percent of the students are given an opportunity to be admitted there especially those students who have performed well in activities such as athletics, games and other co curricular activities.

The highest package offered at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC) has reportedly gone up to as much as INR 25 LPA recently. However, the overall placement statistics tend to lean towards an average package of about INR 4 to INR 5 LPA. Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), run by Mahavir Education Trust, does not provide hostel facilities for its students on campus. However, it is possible to avail ready-to-move paying guest (PG) accommodations close to the college at reasonable costs with different options available. Most of the students are able to find comfortable places to stay within the vicinity of the campus, and the institution offers assistance in finding such PGs whenever required.

Since Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) mostly accepts students through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) you can enroll in a B.Tech programme there without taking the JEE Main. The primary admission exam for DMCE engineering seats, particularly for Maharashtra state quota applicants is the MHT-CET. If non-Maharashtra candidates decide to apply through the All India quota, they can still gain from their JEE Main results.
