Yes, you can definitely join Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology for B.Pharma without JEE mains. The entrance exams accepted for B.Pharma include JEE mains, WB JEE and CEE AMPAI. So other than JEE, you  still have 2 other options left. The most chosen and suggested entrance exam is WB JEE, most of the students appear for this exam only. You can also go for CEE AMPAI, if you wish to. The next WB JEE and CEE will be held in next year only. The eligibility criteria are the most important factor in the OJEE PGAT admission process. Candidates appearing for the M.Tech/M.Arch/M. Plan must meet the eligibility condition to participate in the admission process, which are as follows -

  • Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognised university or institute.

  • Must have obtained 50% marks or 45% (in case of the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

For B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum qualifying mark from a reocgnised board or institution.

Yes, BSc Students have the option of switching to BTech after completing BSc. They will get admission in the second year of a B Tech degree. Only Diploma holders were allowed BTech Admission through Lateral Entry, but from 2013-14 BSc students also have this provision. According to AICTE, students from BSc Computer Science and BSc IT have the opportunity for direct admission in BTech 2nd Year through Lateral Entry.
