There are about 200 best Engineering colleges in Rajasthan. Of these, 160 colleges are privately owned, 28 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own 4 colleges. 

Students can secure admission after passing Class 12 boards or through entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET,  etc.

Rankings of BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology in the field of engineering is decent. B.Tech programme was ranked 87 th in India by IIRF in 2022. Although much information about ranking is not available more than this, but seeing the ranking, it can be said that this Institute is a very much decent Institute for B.Tech. This Institute cannot be said as the top Institute for B.Tech, but is better than many other institutes of the area. However, it is rated as a good institution located in the city of Pune for training in artificial intelligence and data analytics.
