No, it is necessary to take the JEE exam. Aspirants need to appear for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and secure a valid All India Rank (AIR). Based on students' AIR, the conducting body calls students for JoSAA counselling and carries out the allotment process. There is no other provision for admission to the BTech course. To seek admission to the BTech course at IIT Indore, candidates must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main.

After completing a DMLT course, you can indeed work as a medical lab technician in hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic labs, or clinics.
DMLT is not an Engineering course; rather, it's a Paramedical course that focuses on training students in laboratory diagnostic techniques, including the handling of lab equipment, sample collection, and analysis of biological specimens.
As a lab technician, you’ll play a crucial role in the healthcare system, supporting medical teams by providing accurate diagnostic information.

Yes, there is a probability of getting admission in IIT Kanpur for BTech if your rank is around 5000. However, it will depend on the branch of engineering you are applying for B.Tech on which department your interested. Since, the cut offs keep changing for different departments from round to round, therefore better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Kanpur.
