Yes, IITs offer some seats to sponsored students. Those students who are sponsered by their employer or organisation can take admission to M.Tech courses without attending GATE exam. However for unsponsered candidates it is mandetory to take GATE exam in order to get admission to M.Tech courses. Yes, Candidates can change their examination city after filling up the GATE application form 2026, candidates have to pay a fee for making the correction . Candidates needs to pay INR 500 for as correction charges.

With a 18600 rank in KCET 2024, getting CSE at RVCE Bengaluru might be difficult as it has excessive cutoffs. But don't lose desire! You can try for other top colleges in Bengaluru or Mysore like BMS College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, or PES University. Check their last yr's cutoffs, as it could come up with a better idea. Always have some backup options simply in case!

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Imphal admission considers NIELIT Entrance Exam score for admission to non-formal courses. NIELIT Exam is conducted on all Indian levels twice in a year. The institute also accepts CUET-PG score for admission to MCA. For most of the formal courses, the selection is based on an admission test conducted by the institute. Besides, the selection is merit-based for short-term programmes.

So if you've completed your graduation in B.Sc in IT and now you are thinking if you could get into M.Tech CSE, well, generally, M.Tech CSE requires a B.Tech Diploma in a related subject. But don't worry, there are many alternatives for you.

First, take a look at the eligibility standards for every university you're interested by. Some may take delivery of candidates with IT.

If now not, you may recollect taking a bridge course or postgraduate degree software to transition into M.Tech CSE.

Another choice is to pursue an MCA (Master of Computer Applications) as a substitute, which is probably a higher course for your history.
