Admission to the B.Tech. programme at SVNIT, Surat, is based on performance in the JEE Main, followed by counselling through JoSAA. You must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board with minimum marks.You must have opted for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in Class 12.

Selection Process:

  1. Appear for the JEE Main exam. Qualifying in JEE Main is mandatory for admission to B.Tech. programs at SVNIT Surat.

DSEU Round 1 cutoff 2024 has been released based on JEE Main score across various BTech specialisations in opening and closing ranks. DSEU BTech cutoff 2024 ranged between, 11044 and 23556 for the General AI category candidates, wherein BTech in CSE is the most competitive course. The easiest BTech specialisation to secure admission is BTech in Mechanical Engineering. For a detailed DSEU branch-wise cutoff 2024, candidates can refer to the table below for the Round 1 cutoff. IITs do offer BTech CSE (Computer Science Engineering) which is a 4-year UG degree program. You can appear in JEE Advanced or JEE MAINs exams to get admission to BTECH CSE.
