Yes, Goa University has separate quotas for the development of specific BE student groups. These include a 1% reservation for children of ex-servicemen, as well as a 5% reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), subject to a minimum of 1 seat per program. Supernumerary seats, up to 15% of the total number of seats, are also provided for overseas students, including 1 seat per programme earmarked specifically for Kashmiri migrants as per UGC directives.

To ensure fair access, Goa University strictly follows the state government's reservation guidelines for its BE admissions. The current seat distribution includes:
27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
12% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
10% for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the Un-Reserved Category.
2% for Scheduled Castes (SC).
These percentages apply to both local domicile and All India seats as per the Directorate of Higher Education.

The last date to submit the application form for session 2 was May 5, 2026. Students had to apply before the deadline; otherwise, they will not be issued the admit card.

The authority conducts the BITSAT exam in two sessions. The BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam was held from April 15 to 16. The session 2 exam was conducted from May 25 to 27, 2026. Candidates were able to appear in any one or both sessions. In case students appeared for both the best of the two will be considered.

BITS Pilani has announced the BITSAT 2026 exam dates for both sessions. BITSAT session 1 exam was held on April 15 and 16. The exam dates for session 2 was May 25 to 27.
