Assuming, you are talking about B.Tech in Public colleges, Presidency is more expensive and has a fee struture in the range of INR 2LPA - INR 4 LPA while in general, SETs are more likely to be in the range of INR 30,000 - INR 1 Lakhs per annum. This does not answer the question asked as there is a huge assumption that you are talking about BTech in public colleges. The answer varies significantly based on multiple factors like the stream chosen, hostel and other facilities, categories, the specific institutions selected, and even gender. Therefore, a more specific question is to be asked including the above mentioned details.

Not at all. In a maximum of Cases clearly, BMS College of Engineering is the winner.

1. Average package

BMS college: INR 8.4 LAKHS

ACS College: INR 5 LAKHS

2. Median package

BMS College: INR 7.5 LAKHS 

ACS College: INR 3 LAKHS 

3. Placement percentage

BMS: 80 %

ACS: 50%

4. College life 

BMS: Lush green campus having a maximum of needed facilities like a sports complex, library, gym, etc.

ACS: Has an area of 6 acres which is quite small even smaller than my school so Opportunities are very limited in both the colleges but out of these 2 BMS is on the top.

Hi, hope you are doing fine.The total seat intake in ACS College of engineering is 176 comprised of several branches in specialization.ACS College of Engineering offers M.Tech programs at the postgraduate level, and candidates applying for M.Tech courses need to appear and qualify in the GATE/Karnataka PGCET entrance exam.

The image size of photo while filling the application form should be in between 30 to 50 KB. Photograph should not have cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER generated photos are not acceptable.

Applicants while filling the application form must use a passport size photograph showing the date and name of the candidate in jpg/jpeg/png/bmp/tif/gif format with minimum 80 pixels resolution.

Candidates who are from OBC category needs to pay INR 1600 as application fee and additionally fee for late applicants needs to pay INR 500 additionally along with 1600 means they have to pay INR 2100. Applicants should note that application fee needs to be paid in online mode. 

This fees is for JET and Pre PG courses while it is INR 3700 for PhD courses.  

Once application fee is paid it is non-refundable/non-transferable/non-adjustable in any case. Hence applicants need to be double sure while filling the application form.

The BTech course fee at SoET, PDEU is INR 9.6 lakh. The fee components include tuition fee, hostel and one-time fee. The one-time fee is INR 13,000 which includes one-time payment includes Library Deposit and Security Deposit.
