The students have to score more than 80 to 90 percent aggregate marks in the entrance exam to take admission.
The Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering and Diploma in Information Technology is a courses under State Council of Technical Education, Nagaland under the Directorate of Technical Education. The duration of the Course is 3 years. Admission to the course will be done during May/June every year. Admission notice is published in the local newspapers and some national newspapers about a month prior.

You can get admission into the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kohima with 70% marks in 12th, but you have to pass the entrance exam conducted at the national level for admission in B.Tech courses in different government and some private colleges.
