Before JEECE registration, candidates are advised to check official eligibility criteria for admission process. All candidates should be permanent residents of state and should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board. For JEECE admission, the candidates will require a valid JEE Main score and should have secured minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in their 12th standard qualifying examination from a recognised board. The authorities will not conduct any JEECE for BTech admission. Admissions will be based on JEE Main scores. However, JCECE exam will be held for admission to BTech Agriculture and BTech Dairy Technology.

Along with the GCET admit card, the candidates will have to present their valid photo identity proof. Any one of the following documents can be produced to the invigilators at the centre - Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, any Govt. approved identity proof. At the exam centre, any one of the above-mentioned original identity proofs has to be presented. Without the admit card and identity proof, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

Candidates should check the list of prohibited items before reporting to GCET exam centre. Electronic items are not allowed in the exam centre. If prohibited items are seen inside the centre, then candidates will be disqualified from the exam.
