The merit list for seal allocation will be prepared based on the GATE scores. IIITDM Kancheepuram seat intake for M.Tech programme is 200. The total seats are distributed evenly among all the M.Tech offered specialisations. Each specialisations with 20 seat intake. Seat are allocated based on the CCMT counselling. Candidates must apply for CCMT by visiting the official website. Candidates seeking admission to the CCMT participating institutes will be allocated seats based on their choices for college and course and their GATE rank. GATE 2024 exam dates are announced and conducted for 2023.

IIITDM Kancheepuram M.Tech admission is based on the GATE followed by CCMT counselling. GATE is conduted by the IISC Bangalore. IISC Banglore has released the cutoff for various courses including, MTech, MDes, Master of Management Programme and MSc is based on GATE scores. The exam cutoff for GATE is out of 1000. Tabulated below is the highest GATE 2023 scores for various courses:

GATE 2024 registration for M.Tech admission to IIITDM Kancheepuram has started .Candidates can also fill GATE application form 2024 online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. IISc Bangalore has released the detailed GATE 2024 information brochure. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the GATE 2024 official website and also on the GATE Shiksha page. A new paper on GATE 2024 Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been added.

No, IIITDM doesn't offer any direct Admission for M.Tech programme. Candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram M.Tech courses must visit the official website of the respective entrance exams. For MTech, IIITDM Kancheepuram accepts GATE entrance test scores for admission followed by CCMT counselling. The seat allotment to the M.Tech programmes is based on the All India Rank published by CBSE. Admission is based only on All India Rank (AIR). State Rank is not Considered for admission into IIITs.
