NIT Srinagar BTech admission process is done based on candidates' JEE Main rank. The admission is completely entrance-based and there is no other provision for selection. Eligible students can visit the NTA official website to apply. After the entrance exam, a cutoff list is released. Students who meet the cutoff criteria can participate in JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. In case seats are left vacant in JoSAA counselling, then those are filled through CSAB counselling process.

Candidates must register and appear for the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling held annually for BE/BTech admission. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50).

If you belong to general category then you must score 340 or above out of 400 marks and rank must be below 1000. If you are from reserved category then you must score 280-300 and rank must be below 2000. You need to score above cut off marks to be able to get a seat in NIT.

And a JEE Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and a JEE Mains score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into NITs and IITs through the exam. Candidates must also be in the top 15,000 to 20,000 ranks to be accepted into the best NITs and IITs.

Yes, TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) is conducted specifically in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is an admission process for undergraduate engineering courses offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu.

And students from other states can also apply for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). While the majority of seats are reserved for Tamil Nadu residents, a certain percentage of seats are also allotted for students from other states on the basis of merit. So, students from other states are eligible to apply for TNEA and compete for these seats.
