For BSc course, the candidate have to meet the last educational qualification as per course requirement. The candidate should complete Class 12th with 60% aggregate. The selection procedure for the programme is merit-based. Apart from this, students who have valid CUET score, are also eligible to apply for the course.

The B.Tech courses are offered at JUIT Solan in eight semesters. Some of the subject list are mentioned in the points below:

 The University has released the placement statistics for the BTech batch 2019-23, 2021-23. So far, the highest package and average package offered to BTech courses during placements 2023 stood at INR 44.14 LPA. A total of 336 BTech students participated, among which 494 total offers were distributed during JUIT placements 2023. The top recruiters who participated in JUIT Solan placements were Cognizant, Infosys, Amazon, Fantaclaus, etc.

Kathmandu University offer greater variety of engineering programs including Bachelor in Architecture. While living in a residence hall can be less expensive than living off campus—resident hall charges are nearly $2,000 less annually than the national average for public schools—staying on campus can be a worthwhile and inclusive experience.Thus, the availability of particular engineering programs may have an impact on the decision to enroll in a B.Tech programme in Nepal at Kathmandu University rather than Chitwan Engineering Campus.

SSNCE 2024 rankings are not available as of now. Under the Engineering category, the college was placed at 45th spot in the NIRF rankings 2023. In this ranking, its rank improved from 48 in 2022 to 45 in 2023. Apart from this, it is also counted among the top three colleges affiliated with Anna University.
