To be eligible for BTech at VIT Bhopal, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Admission to the BTech courses in VIT is based on the ranks of the candidates in the VITEEE entrance exam. VITEEE is a computer-based test (CBT). The duration of VITEEE is 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are a total of 125 questions. 

35 questions are alloted to Physics and Chemistry each. 10 questions are allotted to Aptitude. 5 questions are allotted to English. 40 questions are alloted to Mathematics (MPCEA)/ Biology (BPCEA).
