Yes, Kerala follows a reservation policy in engineering admissions. Seats are reserved for SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), OBC (Other Backward Classes), and certain other economically and socially backward communities as per state government norms. There are also reservations for NRI candidates and management quota seats in private colleges. The exact percentage of reserved seats can vary by college type (government, aided, self-financing).

If you have PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) without Mathematics, your options for B.Tech Cybersecurity are very limited because most universities require Mathematics in Class 12 for B.Tech CSE/Cybersecurity.

However, a few universities have started allowing PCB students under the flexibility provided by AICTE/UGC or through their own admission rules.

Some good options within your ₹10–15 Lacs total budget are:

MIT World Peace University

B.Tech CSE (Cyber Security & Forensics)

₹14–16 Lacs (may slightly exceed ₹15 lakh)

Manipal Academy of Higher Education BTech stands out for its immersive, residential hostel life. Bangalore colleges like RVCE or BMS have a location advantage because they sit right inside India's tech hub. This makes finding local weekend internships slightly easier. However, Manipal provides a superior, self-contained campus culture alongside stellar placements.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education BTech total tuition fee is between INR 18.02 Lacs and INR 24.42 Lacs for the full course. Your final amount depends on the engineering branch you join. This total fee takes care of your tuition, everyday campus facilities, and a refundable caution deposit. It is smart to check the exact stream costs before budgeting.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education BTech pricing changes based on branch popularity and infrastructure needs. Software tracks like Computer Science are the costliest, hitting INR 24.42 Lakh. This is due to massive student demand and the expensive computer labs required. If you choose these high-tech fields, expect to pay a slightly premium rate.

Yes, you can get admission to B.Tech in Cybersecurity at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), but admission is highly competitive.

If you are currently in Class 12, follow these steps:

Complete Class 12 (PCM). You must pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational as the third subject, and meet the minimum qualifying marks.

Appear for MHT CET (PCM). Since you are in Class 12, you should take the MHT CET PCM examination. VJTI also accepts JEE Main for certain seats, but MHT CET is the primary route for Maharashtra candidates.
